NBC 11 News - Discusses Maraliz James Win Against Child Protection Services with Dwight Mitchell

Family Preservation Foundation had it's first court appearance in their federal lawsuit against Minnesota Department of Health Human Services.

NBC interviews the organizations founder Dwight Mitchell and Maraliz James, a parent who the foundation help win her case against Minnesota Child Protection Services.

Approximately 200 Minnesota parents gathered in support of a civil-rights lawsuit that claims Child Protection Services' laws in Minnesota are similar to kidnapping and should not be legal.

Family Preservation Foundation and their parent rights group "Stop Child Protection Services from Legally Kidnapping Children" accuses the current law of treating parents like criminals and harming children more than it helps.
